Here's how we are keeping La Ventana Hostel safe during the pandemic:

  • We are complying with all rules and regulations put in place by the government of Baja California Sur.
  • We will go through our protocol with you when you check in. Your safety, the safety of our staff, and the safety of our small town is our highest priority at this time. Thank you for understanding.

Safety Measures at La Ventana Hostel:

We ask all guests to take proper safety measures (wearing a mask, social distancing, hand washing) when outside of La Ventana Hostel property to protect themselves, other guests, and staff.

Open Air Kitchen: The entire kitchen will be completely sanitized by staff several times a day. Guests are responsible for hand washing before using anything in the kitchen. Guests are responsible for cleanup and sanitizing directly after cooking. All cleaning and sanitizing materials will be provided. Social distancing is required in all common areas and masks are required in the kitchen. 


Roof: We ask that guests social distance on the roof. The roof will be sanitized by staff.

Shared room: Capacity has been significantly lowered and the spacious room will be completely sanitized several times a day. The two bathrooms in the shared room will be thoroughly cleaned and all cleaning materials provided to guests for extra security. Private room prices have been lowered to compete with shared room price.

Private Rooms: Our private rooms will be sanitized and cleaned completely before your arrival. Extra cleaning services are available during your stay at no extra charge. Sanitizer will be provided in each room as well as cleaning materials.

We will take every precaution necessary to ensure the safety of our guests during their time at La Ventana Hostel. We reserve the right to remove anyone who is endangering the health and safety of our other guests and staff.
